Welcome to Dana Point

The beautiful city of Dana Point is located along the scenic southern California coastline and provides one of the few harbors in southern Orange County. With ready access via PCH, it is a popular local destination for some of the area’s best surfers. The harbor, built in the 1960's is home to a marina, shops, and restaurants, and it is a point of departure for the Catalina Express, a transportation service to and from the City of Avalon on Catalina Island.

It is bordered by Laguna Beach to the northwest, the Pacific Ocean to the south, Laguna Niguel to the north, San Juan Capistrano to the northeast and San Clemente to the east.

Community events such as the Festival of Whales in March, the Turkey Trot in November, a 4th of July fireworks show, the Tall Ships Festival in September and the Doheny Blues Festival in summer are celebrated and bring out large numbers of visitors and vacationers. With more than 50 boutiques and restaurants, two yacht clubs, the OC Sailing and Events Center, and Monarch Beach Golf Links, and St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort, there is no shortage of things to see and do here.

Dana Point’s Mediterranean climate is delightful year-round. Days are sunny, evenings are cool. Take a deep breath: Dana Point is virtually smog-free with prevailing offshore breezes.

Situated on seven miles of prominent coastal bluffs and rolling hills midway between Los Angeles and San Diego, this cozy community a world away from fast-paced city life but convenient to reach and offers some of the most incredible and premier housing opportunities around.
